| Information: | The official "aire" in Bilzen has finally opened in 2010. Just a few metres further away from town, and it provides FREE hookup and a sanitary point. During weekends the place might be a bit noisy, due to the presence of several cafes and bars nearby. Bilzen's town centre is quite nice, and offers many shopping opportunities as well as nice restaurants and cafes. The castle of Alden Biesen is not too far away and can be reached by bicycle, using a bicycle trail which has been laid out on a disused railway track. | |

Spent a peaceful night here so thanks to Boff for the initial recommendation. Could be tricky in the high season to negotiate the town with a large unit but the town is worth a visit and makes a useful stopover on the way to Germany. Several cars parked up when we arrived but Moro home spaces left vacant. | |
