Review Rating:: | We came back again, but charge has increased again to €10. There are more hook ups available now, although very little power going through - our fridge kept switching over to gas - as did the guys next door. We didn't risk putting the kettle on! Note that the separate "day" parking area is no more - it's now all part of the main aire, with hook-ups. Still a lovely place, worth it for the inner harbour on a sunny afternoon - you can get a good meal there at a reasonable price - (check where the French are!) |
Review Rating:: | Still very good! A lovely town. Still €9 to include electric - if you can get one! Front row are most likely for hook-ups, long cable regd. Payment by machine only - CC's accepted. |
Review Rating:: | A very nice popular Aire we visited September 2010, by evening it was full to the brim.€9 inc electric. Keep covered up as there is a lot of quite still water and hence mosquito's

Review Rating:: | Aire fills up quickly in the afternoon. More parking spaces than there are electric outlets on the posts. Very quiet at night.
Price is still €9 per night. Worth the money on balance. Will stay again in the future.
As others have said, it gets busy, it's just a car park, handy for Honfleur (it's a nice place to explore beyond the harbour area), good views of Le Havre from the quay alongside the river, numerous small art galleries near the church. The town war memorial was interesting especially with respect to the Resistance. |
Review Rating:: | Stayed longer than expected, two nights, because our dog badly injured himself chasing a rabbit (don't ask!) and needed veterinaire attention.
At least 250 vans on site mid-July with long queues for water/waste disposal in the mornings and completely full each night.
10 minute walk to town, pizza shops 2 minutes, decent dog walk side of Aire.
Bread delivered around 9-30 to 10 am.
Aire services flooded on our last day and were out of use for some time although the Local 'Council' workers were there to try and sort it out within the hour.
Probably been replaced completely by now.
Payment by cash or card and Wardens checked tickets twice a day.

Review Rating:: | aire was pretty full in July but got space. Motorhomes came in during evening and packed up all over but still accessible. 9 euros. Water and waste free, easy walk into towns 10 minutes. If disabled wheelchair scooter cobbles can be nightmare. Restaurants reasonable and good situation in small harbour |
Review Rating:: | Not a very pleasant place to stay but useable, overcrowded and scruffy but within easy walking distance of the (pretty but pretentious and extremely expensive) town. |
Review Rating:: | Very busy Aires, particularly with the French. Need a very long cable. Ideal for the Tourist area of Honfluer. 7 minute walk to the centre. |
Review Rating:: | Was there last week Aug 15th very busy got the last place next to dump (poooeee) no chance of hook up as they are all snaffled early on we stayed until midday following day and lots had arrived by then. It was the Bank Holiday weekend and 7 euros still a bargain. Honfleur is lovely but very expensive and a bit smelly round by the harbour bit but don't let that put you off. |
Review Rating:: | Dont be put off because the aire looks a bit like a derelict carpark, the town of Hornfleur is absolutely gorgeous (but very expensive to eat out). When we first pulled up and went to plug our electric in the french guy next to us was putting his lead away saying that the electric was off but we plugged in anyway and it came back on within an hour, theres a drive over waste disposal point on site..my only criticism would be the rubbish bins we`re overflowing but there must have been over 150 on site the night we were there, the best 7 euros of our holiday |
Review Rating:: | Have recently visited this site (late March 2009). No apparent problems with travellers and as far as I could gather, the bournes seemed to be in working order.
Easy walking distance to the shops. |
Review Rating:: | Just got back from France, Travellers from UK causing havoc on this site. Police unable or unwilling to eject them. Site otherwise very good great location. |
Review Rating:: | Going by the amount of people connecting to the bournes, I would say they are working, but be prepared to share. |
Review Rating:: | Visit was in January 2008 but the entry form does not permit 2008 yet
The electric bornes were not working and appeared to be badly maintained or vandalized |
Review Rating:: | There is a branch of Lidls (the motorhomers favourite store!) just along from the aire (you pass it on the way in) and the garage just a little further on the way out sells LPG |
