Number Of Pitches:30
Information:Lovely grassy site on two levels. Lower level is right onto beach, which is sheltered and topped with white shell covered coves. You can walk out to nearby island at low tide. Working farm with cattle and sheep. Well kept facilities. No hard standings but site seems well drained.
Attractions Nearby:Solway coast and Mull of Galloway. Castle Douglas is one of Scotlands 'food towns'. Excellent range of small shps and cafes. Wonderful sunsets over the Irish Sea. Red Kites can be seen on the 'Three Lochs Tourist Route'. Newton Stewart -'Book Town'

This is one of the best Sites I have ever been to. Everyone on site is very freindly and they all seem to come back year on year as everyone knows each other. This has the draw back of making the site very difficult to get on too. I suggest you book well in advance. The beach has everything rockpools, sand, Deep water for boats, shallow bay for kids, three islands one of my favorite beaches (anywhere in the world).

I have tried to go back on several occasions but they are always fully booked!
