Information:Small very peacefully site close to Hollesey Village, some hard standings, some grass, grass is very firm, we pitched in early march on the grass with no probs. care needed with young children as there is a large pond. A new shower block is in the process of being built, very friendly owners. A 2 acre dog walk is adjacent to site. "Suffolk" God's country say no more.

This was the first site we have visited since getting our motorhome and we couldn't have chosen better! The owners were very welcoming and exceptionally helpful for us first-timers.
We booked after reading the reviews on this web-site and wholeheartedly agree with Jose17's comments.
Had a very relaxing walk to the shingle beach (about 1.5 miles)in the morning and returned to the local pub 'The Shepherd and Dog' for lunch. Food basic but well cooked and reasonably priced.
No shop on site but the local shop, about 200 yds further on from pub, is well stocked.
Practically every pitch had accompanying dog/s - all very well behaved. My two definately want to take us there again.

Just spent a weekend at Run Cottage. The site is lovely and spacious and the owners are very friendly. The toilet block is spotless. There is no motor van waste water point but all the other services were excellent. Its very dog friendly and there is lots of walking to do from the site, some of it is on quiet roads. The local pub has just been taken over and the landlord was very friendly, dogs are welcome in the bar. The beer was good but didn't try the food. Its a lovely site and will definitely return.
