Information:The aire is in the centre of the little village of Sadroc and is only a few kilometres from Jctns 46 and 47 of the A20. It is about 18kms N of Brive. The aire is well signposted once you get to the village. There are 4 electricity points - of undisclosed amperage. All is free, but a contribution is invited, according to the guide. However, I didn't see how this was to be made. Unfortunately, in September 2006 the aire was closed whilst building work was being done. A temporary provision was made at the local tennis courts, on the route back to J47 and Donzenac. A very quiet night and a pleasant village.

An idyylic spot less than 4 miles from J41 on A20. A bit of a tight turn at the entrance for bigger units but a really nice location.

Sadroc is a very pleasant stop It says Max 6 camping cars and the spaces are generous the camper in the photo is parked on the spaces reserved for cars!

As three quarters of the parking is for camping cars that seems a bit unfair, the markings are quite worn though visible.

Up to 10 meters campers should have no problem parking spaces are for 7 meter campers but unless the place is quite full there will be room

The shop is excellent not more expensive than a supermarket has a very good range including light bulbs mops sponges.

Best it sells wonderful bread as well as the normal "French bread"a very large round or long costing 1.75€ just as anywhere else but good whole wheat bread also sells local products inc; Honey(Bio)less costly than Intermarche!!I bought "confit canard" thats leg of duck cooked for just 3€ very good it was.The shop is my place to stop rather than a supermarket when hear

The water on the parking is a proper tap (& the water dosnt smell of chlorine),one for water a good distance from the one for the loo!!

A small but excellent stop good walks interesting church just above which chimes at 7PM and 7am??3x3 chimes then a peal???

One day limit but can stay longer if not busy

Visited in October 2009. A very handy stopover just a short way off the A20.. Signposting was missing at 1 junction but followed village sign and made it ok. Spaces are marked for smaller vans, 6 spaces. When we visited there were 4 vans but all had to park across the bays as we could not fit in. Small shop right at the entrance to the car park. Expect an early wake up call! Church bells at 7am and then the kids turn up at school!
