Stayed overnight again in October this year. The man on the quadbike is very (too) enthusiastic about collecting his €9.50 fees frequently throught the day and also knocked on the door the following morning at 0815 to see if we wanted to pay for another day which we found annoying, especially if you want a lie in. Water at the aire only on from 0800 - 1445hrs. |

there for 2 nights in September 09; views over the rocks if you get on the front row; it's now €8.50 a night, water is turned off after 3:30 when we were there - we didn't do the "open" camping for fear of mozzies! Excellent beach, town seems to shut down mid week at 7pm |

Just left this Aire and agree with the previous comments. The facilities for fresh water and emptying waste are grim. I think the town sewage plant may also be close by as the smell was unbearable when the wind was in the wrong direction, so much so that we moved further up the site during the night to try and get away from it. If you can deal with all of that, the access to the beach is great and the site is about 3 kilometres long so you've plenty to choose from and can avoid the crowds. The site was very busy during our visit but there was still plenty of space available. |

Hygiene on this site is not good, toilets emptied down a grid in the road. What a smell. And people using the drinking water taps to wash out their toilets |

Also visited this year and can confirm 8 Euros per night - this also applies to the miles of wild campsite area to the east with attendant on his quad bike driving up and down to collect money. The barrier is lifted from 17:30 and stays up all night so provided you left before 8:30am you wouldn't be charged. The water is turned off at 17:30 until 8:30 Confusing maximum stay time as sign says 48 hours but attendant says no maximum. Could be 48 hours in carpark but unlimited on beach area. Carpark gets very full however "wild camping" area starting some 250mtrs east is much more spread out and relaxing with room for BBQ, awnings etc. |

Visited this aire but site was full,(actually stayed on the campsite next door) ( see campsite review Le Brise) never saw a free space the whole week we were there, very popular aire cost now 8euros. The wild camp site just seemed to go on for miles with vans obviously resident there. |

A great site on the edge of this beautiful little resort in the Camargue with its white horses, flamingoes and coypus and general air of other worldiness. There is a shop and a boulangerie within spitting distance and plenty of good fish restaurants very close by. We visited in early springtime and it was quiet but all facilities were available tho the loos looked a bit daunting so we had our coffee and croissant at the local boulangerie and used the facilities there! |
