Ordnance Survey:104:SE059564
Number Of Pitches:57
Information:Nice Caravan Club Site with lovely walks in the Yorkshire Dales. BE WARNED! Do not, under any circumstances, arrive before 13:00. There is very limited waiting space and the site entrance /exit could get blocked. There is a very narrow (9'4") and quite low (10'9") bridge on the B6160 from the A59 at the Bolton Abbey Priory and the northern approach road is not recommended. Prior booking essential. Max vehicle length 28'

Can't add much more to what has already been said except:-
Don't expect to get a satellite signal here as it is surrounded by large trees. The only chance is on a couple of pitches to the right just before the exit barrier. There are aerial hookup points for TV but such a nice place you should be out walking anyway!!!!

Thoroughly enjoyed this site which is located next to Strid Wood car park and is just above the scenic River Wharf which has excellent well made up paths along both banks to Bolton Abbey and Barden Bridge.
There is a bus stop just outside the site from where infrequent buses run to Grassington in one direction and Ilkley in the other. Skipton is the nearest town which is 6 miles away. Walkers cannot fail to be impressed with this site. Approach the site with caution because as stated the best access is under a narrow low arch. Once past this the road is wide enough to Strid Wood but not beyond unless you have a camper van conversion.
