Folks

After getting some really useful feedback for the folks on here as to whether to go for a brand new or used van we've come to the decision we should be looking at used.

So after much internet searches (the internet is a wonderful thing!) I've come across this motorhome that I'm going to try to get to see tomorrow.

Before I do, I thought I'd see if I can get any feedback from folks that know a little about them as to whether this is a good van, reasonable price, what to look out for etc.

2007 Fiat Ducato 15JD LWB Lunar Champ £26,800
Berth 4
Engine 2286cc Diesel
Mileage 10,000
Other Tax 31.08.09

Thanks again.

I'm sure it's a lovely van, don't know if Murrays is a good dealer or not, but it is a Fiat X250, so make sure you check the reverse gear up hill before spending any money, if it's a good dealer they'll not have a problem with that, if they do, or the reverse is duff, then just walk away, as you're probably aware there have been problems with some models, also check the mod has been done to stop the water ingress into the engine bay.

If all seems OK, then Good luck and enjoy the new experience.

Hi I had a Lunar champ H590

Personally I would not touch any 2007 Fiat Ducato based vehicles
If you are going 2nd hand go for 2006 and earlier (no water or reverse issues)

You have not said which model champ, Our H590 2003 on a 2.8jtd was a good starter van
I think the Champ range are the budget end of the market but still well made
