Another Hymer Electroblock query

I plugged the Hymer into the mains to give the batteries a trickle today. I noticed the charging light overhead on the panel wasn't lit as it usually is when its on charge. I then found that the 240v mains box had tripped out which it has never done before.

I reset the trip and it reset on the 2nd attempt but there was still no charging light on.

The 240 volt sockets are working fine so...........

How can I test that the batteries are being charged? Does the electroblok charge the vans starter battery?

Any help would be much appreciated.

On my Hymer, it's supposed to give the motor battery a small charge not a full charge. If it's charging the batteries you should see a voltage reading up near 14 volts.
