We often get Blue Badge stuff in the email box, but this takes the biscuit unless I'm mistaken, this is supposed to be placed onto the car cill and help you get out of a car, I reckon you'd need to have quite strong wrists to even consider using it, I'd rather put a T towel on the cill and use that, there is nothing to stop it slipping.

And £27.99 seems bit over the top for a screw driver handle and bit of foam, the handle maybe none slip, but the rest isn't.

My wife (who is disabled) has one of these and finds it helpful for getting in and out of the car. Horses for courses I guess.

Sandy
It must be good then but it certainly doesn't look so.

How does it actually work and help then.

Kev, the link worked for me, but I think you need to read it again! 8)
It doesn't fit on the cill, but on the striker plate on the door frame.
Some cars don't have an overhead handle above the door. These help get in & out if you're disabled.

TB is of course correct in his assumption, and I did just look at the picture of it, and even managed to get that wrong too, not having a good week so far am I     I just made the pic bigger and yes it does look like it's in the striker plate, but small it still looks like it the cill, any hoo, still too expensive for people on a disabled income IMO, and I'd love to see someone trying explain how to use it to my gran.

Might as well just use adjustable Waterpump Pliers for a fraction of the cost, much the same shape and would probably do the same job AND lots of others as well.
