We've both managed to get an extra day off work and those nice people at norfolkline have let us jump on the ferry a day earlier at no extra charge. We're now on the 1845 tommorrow night :) :)

The plan is to check out the dunkerque aire tommorrow night, get a good nights sleep and head south, stopping somewhere south of Paris for the first night and then down to Rocamadour and Cahors before exploring all the rivers and gorges in the areas between here and the Ardeche (Lot, tarn etc etc) for a few weeks before heading north again.

Got the trusty inflatable canoe lashed to the roof and the bikes on the back so we're prepared for most adventures.

Hoping to see at least 1,000+ members on our return and already looking forward to reading all the posts i've missed and we haven't even left yet, such is the power of MHF!!

Gonna miss you all and see you in june sometime.

Au revoir

Have a great time you two. we're heading over on 1st June and thanks very largely to your good self and your good advice, we're equipped with all the guides for Aires, Campsites and Sostas, so are confident of a great holiday.
