Trying to upload a new avatar and keep getting this message

"The post display width is out of range." even though the pic is 75x75

Any ideas?

Is it a .gif, if not try saving it as a .gif before uploading it.

Hi all. You could try loading the picture in to something like Paint and saving it as a JPEG or a JPG file. Then it should load providing the picture is less than 80x80 pixels and less than 100kb in size.

I think this has already been discussed somewhere, had the same problem with the same err msg.

The key thing is to make sure you are switched to the 'platinum' theme before uploading your avatar otherise it doesn't alays work.
