“Rock of Ages” is a Christian hymn written by Augustus M. Toplady, with music by Thomas Hastings. This very personal hymn uses pronouns such asI and me rather than we and our,focusing on individual salvation.
Legend says that Toplady wrote the hymn during a stormy incident in England. While traveling along the gorge in Burrington Combe, he was caught in a fierce storm and took shelter in a gap in the gorge, where he wrote the original lyrics. Some disagree on whether the event actually occurred; nevertheless, the rock is now marked with a plaque that reads: “Rock of Ages: This rock derives its name from the well known hymn written about 1762 by the Rev A M Toplady who was inspired whilst sheltering in this cleft during a storm.”
The 1950 Latter-day Saint hymnal included a version of the hymn for women’s voices only, but in the 1985 hymnal it was changed to the standard four-part harmony for congregational use.
The choir has performed “Rock of Ages” for years, and you can find recordings on the albums Rock of Ages: 30 Great Hymns and The Majesty of America.

Laser is by far the best long term for a printer, I used to run a PC shop in the 90s and we always said to buy what you need to do a job, the combi ones Alan has are only good enough at all three jobs if you pay good money for them, the cheaper combis tend to not do any really well, the printer will likely be only 300 dpi, when even a 600dpi isn't much more expensive.

The Brother lazy printer we bought 5 years ago still does well, new drums and toner after market work fine too

Over the last twelve months or so if I am looking for something and in. Not too much of a hurry I just leave the item in my basket and fairly often I will get a message saying this or that has been reduced. Having mobility issues I buy quite a lot mail order and would say the in this time period I have save the value of my Amazon subscription in discounts.

So today I get an e-mail saying as an Amazon Prime client I can have the dubious pleasure of listening to Amazon Music free of charge?

I bet the bastards will hit my bank for the £79 before long.

We buy from Amazon.de .co.uk .fr and .es.

We have Prime only with .es because we it frequently. We do not and never have had any aggro with Prime being foisted on us. You must be doing something to cause it Ray, or perhaps they are picking on you.

On .es and on .de we ask for Amazon help in English. .fr is likely the same. Go to Customer Service at the bottom of the page. You will have to select an item you've bought as a reason for your contact. Any one will do and you can tell them it's a problem with Prime once you have them. Select Contact Us. Then ask for them to phone you and select the help in English option. Here and from the UK they call back in seconds.

I've had to twice Ray and by next day I've been sorted it also give you chance to give them feedback we're all in different situations so it helps them.

The internet is littered with complaints about people accidently signing up for Prime so its clearly designed that way on purpose. You just have to be really careful when checking out. I know its caught Michelle out a couple of times.

I know always to check what's in my basket before I pay. Also to check they aren't automatically making me repeat buy whatever it is in a month's time. I've noticed that option is often ticked.

I also had the music offer recently and just deleted the email.

When I have these free for 1 month offers, I have at times signed up, but immediately cancel it, I still get the 1 month free use but it stops automatically after the month. Thats how you can get caught out because at the end to of the month you can forget to cancel.
