Recently I was on a very rough (washboard) road. when I attempted to use the brakes to slow below 30 mph, the brake pedal went all the way to the floor with no braking action. I was able to pump up the brakes and have them work OK.
By driving below 10 mph the washboard road did not cause any problem. At a higher speed I had the same brake problem.
On a normal road, the brakes have worked normally ever since.

Has anyone else experienced this problem?

What was the solution?

I have spent several hours taking to various VW and Winnebago people with out getting any answers. It seems no one else has had this or even heard of this before.

I'll take a punt.

The wheel bearings are knackered or have a bit of play in them & you've been experiencing pad knock off. Sound like waffle ? Have a look at the 2nd post down by Neil for a more in depth explanation. Pad knock off explanation.

Get rid of any slack that's allowing the disk to move laterally between the brake pads & the problem will go away.

I've had this happen on various bikes over the years

Wheel bearings are the most likely problem
