We have been over since May 3rd having modified plans somewhat to stay in fine weather so no Germany yet again.
Currently we are at le paradis campsite in the Dordogne near Les Eyzies
they are promising 30 deg followed by a little rain. They have promised rain for days and its still sweltering.
We are looking forward to seeing you all in a couple of weeks.
Bring plenty dosh and cooked chickens (£12 ea here, £3.50 @ Tesco) we are really noticing the high prices this year so come prepared.

Thanks for the heads-up on prices but, quite frankly, my dears, I don't give a damn! :roll: Well, I suppose I could give a little bit of one but AuntieSandra and I will be arriving at Amboise, in the middle of the Loire, some time on Wednesday of next week and nothing is going to stop us. :lol:

No doubt the fridge/freezer will be bulging with 150L of Tesco/ Morrison/ Co-op stuff. Personally, I enjoy shopping in the French supermarches.
