Bundesvan

Found your website while browsing yesterday. Spotted this post about Bundesvan through whom I bought my Hobby in March 2002.
I have nothing but positive comment on Nick Legg, the proprietor and the service he provides. If anyone wishes to know more, I will be happy to communicate privately in the next week as I will be off to Spain for 8 weeks after that!
The whole transaction went very smoothly and Nick ironed out a few very minor problems without fuss, in stark contrast to the unhappy stories that I hear in the waiting room from customers at a well known large dealer whenever I go in for service.
Importing a motorhome is understandably something that causes trepidation but my experience through Bundesvan's personal service is something that I would look to repeat if we ever get tired of our Hobby.
So a big :D for Bundesvan and feel free to contact me for more info.

Hi SteveC

A quick welcome to our midst and pleased that you found the time to contribute.
We tried Spain in the motorhome in January 3 years ago. La Manga.
The weather was ok but didn't care much for the area.
We'll try somewhere else if we go again.

Spain in February

Thanks Gillian,
We're heading down to the Almeria area which I'm told is very nice and the weather reports show it warmer down there than further up the coast. Voyage of discovery really - we love France so much that for years we've always found it harder to go further than that if we don't have to. Looking for some low 20's weather and I guess we'd struggle for that in France in Feb/March, so Spain it is. My only fear is overcrowding at good spots as I've heard some unfavourable stories about Southern Spain in winter. The only way to find out is to go and see for yourself, I guess.
