Sorry to be a party-pooper MandyandDave (for which in advance I apologise). But as admirable as the offer is, Calor stands to make quite a lot of profit from the deal.

£5.00 for every bottle returned to Calor goes to needy kids, you don't have to buy another, just hand an unused empty in, Calor benefit by re-cycling the returns back into the gas bottle using community, i.e us.

Calor therefore save money buy not having to pay production costs of new bottles, which would inevitably be past on to the consumer i.e. us again.
