Greetings all

I own a 2008 Chausson Flash 04 Top and I have a problem with the habitation battery charging circuit.

Currently installed I have the following:-
CBE Control Panel - PC-150TR
CBE Distribution Box DS-300TR
CBE Battery Charger CB516

The control panel seems to be working ok, however when I am plugged in to 230 Volt hook up there is no habitation battery charging taking place.
When not connected to 230 Volt hook up none of the habitation lights, water pump etc are working, even if the habitation battery is fully charged.
If the engine is running then the habitation battery is being charged, also the fridge works from the main battery when selected to battery on the 3 way selector (Mains, gas, battery).

I was looking at replacing the parts above with:-
CBE Control Panel CBE PC-210
CBE Distribution Box DS-300
CB516 Switching battery charger (same as current installation).

With this in mind my question is:-
The control panel and distribution panel part numbers end with TR. I have found from the manufacturer (CBE) that they do not know what the TR means as these parts are modified by Trigano and installed into Chaussons. I have tried to contact Trigano for these parts but they respond to nothing.
Does anyone know if it is possible to replace the existing Distribution Box DS-300TR with a standard Distribution Box DS-300, at the same time as replacing the existing Control Panel - PC-150TR with a more up to date and higher spec standard CBE PC210, again without the TR in the part number?
Any info would be welcome as Chausson and Trigano are beyond useless in their lack of response, even if you want to give them money to buy their products.

Thanks.

Welcome to the forum Andy. I don't know the answer to your questions but I would say, re the point above, that I have a 12v rocker switch near my control panel that needs to be on for the 12v lights/pumps etc to work.

Have you researched the likely cost of your proposal, if not I think when you do you might decide otherwise.
I'd suggest the best course of action is to troubleshoot your problems and when you know what they are fix them.

Hi Jiwawa.
When the control panel is switched on, top right hand switch, then the individual light switches should work and also on the control panel there is a dedicated water pump switch.
If I am hook up then these work. When not on hook up, even when habitation battery is fully charged they do not work.

Hi Eurajohn
Yes I have found the price of a new system. For the parts i listed below I can get them all from UK for about £360. Shipping and import is another matter since Brexit so I would arrange for them to be sent to a UK address and I would pick them up.
CBE Control Panel CBE PC-210
CBE Distribution Box DS-300
CB516 Switching battery charger

I am currently in touch with Apuljack engineering. They have been very helpful but even they cannot tell me if I can replace all of the parts ending with TR with standard parts.

A system diagram woukd be a big help.
It makes sense that the battery is offline. If the EHU feeds the can circuits but not charging then the leisure battery isn't connected. So it sant charge off mains or feed the circuits. Charging off the engine is separate.
Could a fuse have blown?

Just noticed your avatar says you are in France ? sorry thought you were in UK.
I live in France and find Spain is often a good source of parts and of course will post with no problem or restrictions (or stupid prices) a quick search found the DS-300 HERE.
Worth a try????
