Just wonder if anyone has any experience of the Fiamma cycle rack which lifts up and down, any good?

Hi yes we have one, and are very pleased with it............my Husband said to tell you they are brilliant and also he feels that because they are quite high up when the bikes are on there is probably less chance of someone taking the bikes, to wind down the rack would make a bit of a noise in the night etc
Bike rack

I have a 12 volt Omni bike rack... It lowers down to about 200mm of the ground and when fully raised its about 1.5 metres from the ground. I'm very happy with it.
Hope that info is some use to you.

Frank
Thanks for the replies.

Bike Lifts

Hello,

Our rack is very high, was looking for something like this myself. I like the look of this one , not sure if will fit Our Eura Mobil.

The bike rack looks nice too

Very true, more like gold plated (Advertising link removed by mods)

We have one although we don't have bikes on it we have a large storage box.
Even at maximum weight it is very easy to wind up with a winder similar to our awning one.
They do seem very expensive and if our MH didn't come with one I don't think my pockets would be quite deep enough to go for it.

Thanks Peter,

Yours was the one I linked to originally. However, the link was out-of-date and broken. When I tried to pop yours back on I could not find it.

Yours is the Best Price other than the one I bought. Have seen them for £477.

All to do with the old website not linking properly to the new one or something, all sorted now hopefully.

Thanks

Peter
We had one on our Allegro RV and it worked very well and as already said the bikes are up and away from the toerags!!

I used to use a hook in a cordless drill to wind it up and down

Thanks for the Clear Picture ruffingitsmoothly, why did you give the toerags a ladder?

Just kidding, did you fit it yourself?

Looks like a neat job. The back of our MH has a similar large window (rear loung). I am a bit worried about placing the rack over the window as I do not want to block the light/view/access.

Trouble is, I only have 2 choices, over the window like yours or under which may take it too low!.

Hi TM when we used to go away we would use a plate similar to this one to stop the toerags climbing the ladder that pic was taken at home!
