The door mirror on my T4 has had a lot of hammer over the 11yrs life and it was an express delivery van at birth. I have decided to replace it as I bent it backwards on quite a dense hedge on my mate's drive. Normally it should bounce back but due to the hammer aforementioned it didn't. It has been nagging me for a long time anyway.
I approached Breeze VW Dealer in Southampton for a price. Unit and glass £80.00 + VAT supply only.
Got a tip off at work for a VW specialist in Portchester. £45 all in fitted. Do it tomorrow. It's about 20 mins down the road and worth it.
