Have just received the Radar key ordered and with it came a leaflet about a disability rights handbook, telling you all the things you can claim for and are entitled to.That sounds interesting I thought, especially as it gets updated every 6 months.£33.50 or £18 if on benefits.Plus £5 charge for the update service.

Seems a bit steep to me, surely all this info is available on line.

I would have thought you could get it all on-line, but maybe some people need hard copies, perhaps for places like Citizen's Advice, and if you need to refer to it when you can't get on-line. That probably explains the cost, I don't suppose they sell many hard copies so each one will be expensive to produce.

Edited to add: Don't worry Cabby: I did some research and got one from the official source. There do seem to be many copies around that are cheaper though!

I went for a genuine one at £5 +pp. Apparently others are not always a good fit in the lock and will not work, which is all you need.:surprise::surprise:
It should have RADAR with N.K.S under. on the top.

I went for the genuine one too from UK Disability Rights.

It didn't seem right somehow buying a fake one! I don't know why....

But at a fiver I'm not complaining :smile2:
