Hi
I need a replacement mirror glass for the offside wing mirror on my year 2000 810 after a small bash on the first day of a ten day tour from Barra to Lewis.
It is not immediately obvious what the mirror type is, it does certainly not look like a standard Ducato one. It is a large approximately rectangular electric mirror (approximately 360 x 170 mm and has written on it Mekra 0114098. Google gives a few hits in Dutch or German and I was wondering if anyone has successfully sourced the mirror glass. I suspect I can order one via Euramobil but from experience that may take a few weeks.
Many thanks
Alan

Hi,

they look like a generic truck heated mirror.

Try an autofactor who specialises in truck/transport fleet.

Not much help I know, but we used to get replacements for our older trucks in work and they were not too expensive.

Jennifer,
I just had to replace the whole offside unit on my 810 after white van man smashed it off. I got it from a small dealer in Essex who was very helpfull and will probably know just the one you need if you remind him about mine. His name is Keith and his number is 07983588138.
The whole unit heated and electric was £120.00 Mekra wanted £228.00

Hi to the other 810 owners, great van, we have had ours for a year have made a few modifications/improvements and are very pleased with it. Only A class I could find with six proper seatbelts (once factory spec frame was installed). Averaged 24 miles to the gallon on trip to Outer Hebrides which seemed pretty reasonable.
Mny thanks for advice, I should be able to get away with only buying a replacement glass if I can find one. Back in Hertfordshire so Essex fairly local.
