I'll start by adding a few of our favourites

devonshire arms - grassington - absolutly fantastic best meal ever
three horeshoes near leek - very good cavery
mayfeild - seamer - again good cavery
black swan - ampleforth - not been for a while
scarborough arms - scarborough - good home cooked meals
the blue lagoon - disney paris - fab and brilliant atmosphere

would gratefully apreciate suggestions for great yarmouth and new forest/bournemouth area

Got no suggestions, but was pleasantly surprised to see Devonshire Arms Grassington.
We were there last year, one summers evening. we sat outside and it was great. Highly recommend

we went two years ago and were lucky to get a table for five on a busy saturday night (early ) glad we did becuase we all agreed that it was the best meal we had ever had!

I have to go to that area to do a staff apraisal in a few weeks and guess where we are going for lunch!!!!! :lol:
they do really good luncjtime specials

Think we will be going back there again this year, i was brought up in that area (Skipton). We love going to Bolton Abbey by the river, some other good pubs are at Linton near Threshfield and The Craven Heifer just outside Skipton.
