Hi Everyone

Well as you all know we set off to Cornwall, first two nights we spent just outside Fowey at a place called "Par Sands" where we had electric hook up and water and a external TV point, and the full use of the facillities on site. Then we drove towards Torquay and stayed at a place called "Ocean View", this was just outside Teignmouth and spent a night there, you will need some sort of levelling stuff here, but the view was beautiful overlooking Teignmouth harbour from way above. The price here was £10.00 a night without hook up etc. Our last night was spent just outside "Taunton" in a little farm called "Ashe Farm" there was only us and one other on the site in a caravan, we had electric but had problems getting a pic on the TV as we were behind trees etc. The cost for one night with electric and use of facilities, wash up shower etc was £10.00. I must say the scoot certainly came in handy for bobbing into the towns etc.

Will post some pics as soon as I can work out how to,

Hi Jiffyman

Yes, we picked the van up on the 5th and set off on the Friday morning at 4am , I must admit I am hooked already, next long venture is France. Very pleased with the van and the heating system my mrs suffers with Raynards so gets very cold on the fingers, toes etc the blown air system works a treat, a little to hot for me though. my one complaint would be only two 240v sockets in the van.

its a great site and would recomend it to anyone looking to tour cornwall

its got great bus routes and train links to the rest of cornwall and makes a great base.
