fixing a ladder on my tracker

i've been wanting to have ladder on my autotrail tracker but as i've already got a bike rack mounted on the left near side it seems the only option i've got is the opposite side but that would mean fixing through the shower wall and i cant help thinking this a no no. has anyone got the answer for me or do i have to keep climbing up the side to get on the roof on cleaning days
