I have just bought a Omnibike plus, bike rack to fit to my Swift Sundance
Motorhome.
Does any one know if there is a reinforced area on the back of motorhomes for this purpose.
The bike rack is fitted by drilling through the back wall the fitting reinforcing plates internaly and externaly.

My worry is that if the back wall is only expanded poystyrene with a thin layer of aluminium on one side and a wall board on the other. will this be strong enough.

Depends which Sundance it is, If its a rear kitchen and you have to shift cookers etc you should by rights have a gas test done.

Most vans have special points for these things and you need to find out from dealers where these are. If they wont tell you ask Swift or look at other vans built by Swift with similar bodyshell
