I am booked on this route in August what are the chances of my freezer or fridge making it all the way, what is the best method of keeping cool?

I doubt it will stay cool.

I would leave room in there for some ice packs. Freeze them the day before leaving and pop them in.

You might like to read this related thread from earlier today about the same problem - it has some very good ideas e.g. using litre bottles of fruit juice frozen to keep cold.

also check to see which products are banned for importing from britain to Denmark - that may empty the fridge a little

Couple of deep frozen bottles of water in the fridge compartment will do the trick.

So the freezer is out and concentrate on the fridge. I think it is a 18 hour journey will the fridge be up to it ?

You're not taking bacon?
I would freeze every liquid you are taking including milk That should keep the fridge cool and keep the door shut it should last.
What are you trying to preserve half the fun of going abroad for me is visiting markets including super ones!
