Yep, getting the right parts would have been my concern too Bill, and that they are a good fit. I imagine that as moulds age the fit becomes a bit approximate.
Getting fed up waiting for parts
Goodness only knows when Auto-Trail will send the parts and the devil only knows when they will get here so I´m back to thinking it may be wise for me to get another van, howsomever which make.
There is no other van this side of the water like my Navajo, all have fixed beds for a start cutting down on my daytime space, I can´t find one with flat flooring, the ones I have seen all have steps inside and steps up to the beds at the back. It must be single beds not a double. Does anyone have any ideas for me? My licence covers C1, but I don´t want a bus, just a 2 berth motorhome. Any tips please.

Progress is being made, but not as quickly as he would like because he is unable to remove the surrounds of the lockers or the door to fit the new ones so has repaired the old ones. It is a lot more complicated than first thought. here is a part he has repaired or renewed not sure which, there was a lot to understand.

A lot of time is waiting, now he is waiting for some compound to dry hard before he can carry on, my bed had to be dismantled to remove an inside panel to get the new lining in and loads of other stuff he had to do that I didn´t even think about He showed me the difference between the when new colour and now because when the decal was removed underneath is the original bright white. he wants to get the new as near to the old as possible so I told him to change the colour and make it all red.
It was all very well packed, this is the door which he won't unpack until he is ready to put it in because of all the spray & dust about so I hope to goodness it will fit.

Getting out the old fly screen and putting the new one in is also not simple.
He still can´t promise to have it ready in 2 weeks but said he will try his best.
He is also going to move the electric connection from under the side flap to a place I can reach without standing on my head, a rather silly arrangement Auto-Trail had.
He managed to find me a new second hand fridge that fits, the new fridges here he said are a few centimetres bigger. The old one has bits missing that either the fire brigade removed or the criminal police removed, they did a lot of work to make sure nobody was trying to get rid of me.

If it'd not ready by Easter then it´s not. When it is finished I will then go directly to France instead of North first.
