Hi TheOggies. I don't want to knock you? But I notice you have still not changed the size of the pictures in the Guide To placing photos in Members & Motorhomes Gallery. Is the reason you have LOCKED it, so no-one can make a comment on it? Not everyone has BROADBAND. :evil: When I am mobile, my connection speed is quite often less than the supposed to be 9600. As the photo admin? You should help and encourage members to read these pages. Just my own thoughts. 8O

Sorry mate, as i said yesterday i posted the guide for Dave to approve or dissapprove of. He has looked at it and is happy with it.
He locked the post as it was not there really for that reason, i do not have the authority to do anything with the posts, that is down to Dave and the Mods.

I am afraid that you will have to contact Dave about the size of the images, I can understand where you are coming from

the thing is i locked the topic and approved the post on the grounds that the pictures are small albeit not optimized right down to a mobile phone connection, however when on a mobile phone connection dont think you will be reading up how to upload photos in the first place

If the size of the thread in question is too large for the dial up crowd and they complain then we can look more into it, but even then if you are considering spending a long time waiting for a picture to upload to the site, its not too much of an inconvenience to wait a few mins for that thread to load

Thanks for that Chris. As a photo person you should know how easy it is to put small JPG's, JPEG's etc into a post as a link to much larger (not necessarily too large) photo. I once sent by email a Christmas card designed as a Web site in HTML. I sent it to 8 different people by mobile connection with the laptop. They all Replied 8O It took 45 minutes to receive them. :evil: Hindsight is a wonderful thing.

Hi nukeadmin. I must have been editing my post when you posted your's. Yes I understand what you mean. Bit if someone happened to click on the link by accident, they would be wasting time for it to load. Keep up the good work anyway Dave.
