I'm Simon and my wife is Hilary. We have a Dethleffs Advantage I6611 and are now living in France. One of the main reasons for moving here was to avoid having to cross the channel first with our travelling.

Not Citizenship. That is a-whole-nother level. We have residency status which is renewable. I joined this forum as I was looking for information on air suspension. It's looking like I will be investing...

Welcome from us Southerners too ! We are in 47 Lot et Garonne.

The big advantage of residency is that we can roam anywhere in France for as long as we like, with my wife (who has dual nationality with English and German passports, we can go anywhere in Europe for as long as we like, as long as we are together…..

I am in Germany and moved here from England before Brexit was even thought of.

Oh wow! We're in Sourdeval.

Not too far but almost the extremes of La Manche.
We have UK friends whose daughter lives in Sourdeval and they drop into see us on the way down.
