Hi everybody, I'm eddied.
Long term ex pat in Italy, but commute regularly between Sorrento Peninsula and N.Wales/Lake district where I VFR and business. Have a Bessacarr E645 which I'm very happy with, on Fiat Ducato 2:8/Alko.
Started camping/caravanning in 1947 with my dad's homemade caravan/Hillman Minx. Let water in like a colander!
Swapped a caravan for motorhome 2 years ago after a TIA left me with the physical strength of damp popcorn so couldnt cope with water barrel/waste barrel/hook up etc.
Had hired motorhomes frequently in the past so used to them.
Officially retired but no pension yet.

Like this new site set-up, and congratulations to Dave for getting it back on line so quickly. Had some nasty personal experiences of computer crashes!
By the way this site is more mobile-friendly, at least to my N9500/Opera browser.

Welll for e.g. early this morning I was logging on to mobile yahoo uk, and took ages, as did BBC world service and Italian RAI service. Log onto MHF and I get a download right away. I think it's probably because a large part of the site is text; and then I can download images as and if I require. The connection is a GPRS mobile one.
