Are you wanting coastal? are you actually wanting a site or a meet? do you need facilities like EHU or toilet block etc?

Ooooh questions questions.

Hi Karl,

Have you looked on the C&CC website and/or their Out & About magazine for their temporary holiday sites?
There are several DA's that are doing something over this weekend, and their locations are often close to town centres. As an example, there are a few locations at schools in East Anglia, however, we are going to Sheringham with the S Lincs DA. No booking required. :) For your area, see page 107 in the May issue of the C&CC magazine.

I hope you find something,

Jock.
weekend

hi, karl i agree with jock and rita try c,cc rally. We went to our first last weekend.we are cornwall da,went to helligan next to lost gardens.£8 a night. This weekend off to mawgan nr helston.£5 pn.well wor th checking out your local area, real value for money .great weekend will be doing this all the time now 2 weekends for price of one.hope you get sorted.lins. :)
Hello karl,
We have been trying to book through The caravan club most of the country seems fully booked!!!
I spoke to the wardens at my local the quarry in Cherryhinton & apparently the dutch are coming over in droves because of the value of sterling to euro at the moment, several were on site there!
Why not try the Pooley Bridge Inn at Pooley Bridge, Ullswater in the Lake District. Large car park and motorhomes are welcome. Also over the road they are also welcome at the Sun Inn. Might be a bit busy as its bank hols. We stayed there a few weeks ago and its great if you want a pub weekend. No hookup of course but then for a weekend you dont need it. You could head for the Yorkshire Dales and moors of course, plenty of wildcamping spots up there.
Chatsworth park showing Friday and Saturday available on late availability CC
Would have to back the rally option, one good thing about the C&CC you don't need to book on 99% of the rallies you just turn up and most are around £5-£8 a night.

We do loads of the rallies during the year and have been to some gorgeous places, and don't worry about being dragged in to sing round a camp-fire they are not like that at all and you are left much to your own devices. You have the option to go to evening get togethers or the Sunday morning coffee and chat but that's up to you, if we have time we go if not we are not looked on badly by anyone.

For those wanting all singing all dancing EHU sites it's possibly not your cup of tea but then we would probably have to book if everyone loved it. :)

We go to Netherlands on Tuesday so will just be at home hoping for good weather next week

C&CC rallies are always the way to go. Always lots of choice and only on very rare occasions do you need to book.
If you think that rallies are not for you (you cannot form an opinion unless you have been to a few), then there are thousands of CS and CL five van sites.

If anyone is wanting to visit the East Yorkshire coast this weekend then we found this brand new site last weekend.

I posted it earlier in the week but dont know if anyone found it. They are bound to have space

Also campsite entry

Couple of pitch photos attached. Would like to keep it to ourselves but liked the owners and want them to do well and its only fair to share!

Flamborough is a wonderful place. The cliffs in the photos are a mile or so from the site.

Glad to hear it Karl, but don't leave it there!
Whereabouts are you off to........roughly?

Have a good weekend.

Jock.
Hi,
Try beehive farm at Rosliston which is near Burton upon Trent.
Chris
I have found that CC sites often appear to be booked solid when you go on line, but if you are prepared to take a chance and just turn up, they can often accommodate you. I think they have a lot of 'no-shows', as, unlike other clubs, they don't ask for a deposit.
