Help on choosing a wheelcahir lift

3682 Views 10 Replies 5 Participants Last post by  peedee
Howdy, I've bought an Euro Mobil Integra 810 which I am converting to wheelchair friendly for my wife and I.
Does anyone know of a Cassette lift that will fit inside the motorhome between the two floors as there is very little room below to hang it as the chassis is to low for ground clearance.

I originally bought a Ricon lift to fit inside (one with the frame and arms) but the unit is as ugly as sin so started to look at more discrete cassette lift versions.

Any help or advice would be gratefully received.

Thanks for taking time to read

The best place to have a look at the variety of lifts available is the Mobility Road Show but the next show is not until mid 2018. I was impressed by one made by >Braun,< (there are other similar makes) and wanted one fitted to my motorhome but this was not possible and I had to settle for one by >Ratcliff Palfinger< My vehicle is rear wheel drive and it is quite likely the drive shaft got in the way. The one good thing about RP lifts is they are widely used and there is a good network of service agents both in the in the UK and on the Continent. They are also very reliable. I have a RUL35 fitted and it has performed faultlessly for 6 years now. You could try searching the internet for a secondhand one?
