This is how we got into motorhoming:-

After a few days camping in the rain and getting wet with the children whilst on our summer holiday, we decided to look at a few motorhomes to get dry!! We visited Martins of Exeter', about 1/2 an hour from Charmouth where we were staying. I suppose we were impulsive thus we came away having purchased an Elddis Autostratus TS SE, 1998 model, with 21,000 on the clock and air con as a bonus.
We are now keen motorhome owners. Being 40 & 49, we are glad we started this great pastime earlier than planned.
We are interested to know others experiences of how they came to buy a motorhome.

Welcome Hoddynoddy. :)

Felt it would be churlish of me not to welcome a namesake to the site.

Having only recently landed on these shores by accident ( caravan got written off & I was looking for another when my Frisky popped up under my nose last Autumn) I can only say sooner rather than later seems good to me too.
