Hymer door lock barrel
I’ve just replaced the habitation door handle on my 2004 Hymer S820.I also bought a new lock barrel for it but there are no instructions on how to fit it. It looks like it pushes in from the front , is this done with the key in the lock and then turned? I have rang the Hymer Centre where I bought it but they have not got back to me yet.Can any body help.

Sorry can't help. I'd to do the same on my MH but it was the dealer fitted it.
If it is a Zadi lock there is a special key that allows the lock barrel to be removed and inserted, it can only be removed with the tool if the correct key has been used to unlock it though.
Most motorhome parts and accessories suppliers will be able to supply at around £10, be aware there are several versions depending on which lock type you have.
