Not sure if this has been discussed elsewhere but its worth considering the impact brexit could have on those of us who prefer to import from outside the UK and the wider issue of importing motorhomes.
Last weekend I brought back a Challenger Vany V114 from Germany and have started the process of NOVA, VCA, DVLA, headlights, fog lights, speedo etc. I was planning on waiting until the spring but the uncertainty of brexit prompted me to act now. Regardless of if we have a hard or soft exit, there is a lot of uncertainty regarding import procedure and naturally the weakness of Sterling. This won't just apply to folk like me importing my own van, the huge majority of UK motorhomes are based on continental built chassis (Fiat, Ford, VW, Mercedes) and there are an awful lot of European built motorhomes coming into UK each year. As Sterling weakens even further, and the process of importing becomes even more complicated and cumbersome, what will happen? Motorhomes in UK are already overpriced, so can we expect further price hikes on the back of brexit?

Yes. Anything that comes from Europe if the exchange rate tanks will cost more as it already has. I work in IT and most of it is priced in Dollars or Euros and ive seen 20-30% rises in a lot of software and hardware since the referendum where the currency took a nose dive.
