13 years ago, I imported a motorhome from Belgium... no problem - simple process. I'm planning to import one from France now and the process seems fraught with problems, to the point where I now understand I'll have to bring it over on a low-loader before registering it. Does anyone have any guidance on the process or is there an agent I can use who is familiar with this (new) process?

I'll be interested in replies as I've been looking at some French vans without realising there were any obstacles to buying there.

By the way, congratulations on your first post, 9 years after becoming a member must surely be some kind of record?
