Lithunanian Toll Roads

The Lituanian Road Administration website shows that there are tolls on most, if not all of the main roads. Toll rates are only shown for commercial vehicles. I am not entirely clear whether the requirements for vignettes applies to motorhomes or not.

Does anyone have any information on this please?

Snap! Looking to see where SWMBO's family came from in Alytus. Does anyone have experience of camp sites in this area. Can't find any on line. Are restaurants/hotels amenable to letting you stay if you use their facilities? Don't really fancy wild camping in a country we don't know.

We were in Lithuania last year and we didn't pay road tolls then. There were road tolls for HGV's though and I'm pretty sure it hasn't changed.

Dont worry about campsites there are plenty of them, many can be found here:

I seem to remember that we picked up some good leaflets on campsites once we were there.

There's also no problem finding sites in Latvia or Estonia in fact one of our favouite sites is in Latvia, Kempings Apalkalns near Cesis, pure heaven. Here's our thoughts on it:
