Has any member used the M6 toll road ?

What were you charged ?

Is it fair that motorhomes are charged at a rate which is calculated by the number of axles involved and the height of the bodywork above the first axle ?

Eh ? I here it's now full of roadworks. It's only been open a week and they need to fix the road surface. You do get a refund though.

I would choose not to use it. I pay enough tax in this country already without paying extra. This country gets more money on the vehicle tax than is spent on roads, why pay a toll too ?

I understand there were jams on it yesterday as a result of the roadworks while at the same time the M6 was flowing smoothly!
