autogas in portugal

Hi. I looked at the site or googal map. but can only see about 20 bp sites.Where do i find the list with 100s on please. cheers maurice
Hi Maurice, I tried this with both IE8 and Google chrome, after you click on the link and download the file Google Earth fires up and displays the sites.

I have just done it and the following sites: Galp, Cepsa, Repsol, Esso, Avia, BP are shown. I have done a tomtom POI and their are 254 sites in all, I will put in the download section.

PS now done, just wait for the mods to validate it.

Thank you. I go to potugal again next jan for three months and take about a week to get there. The wife must have the heating on most of the time, the aldi system drinks the gas quicker then i can down a pint, so next time i intend to fit refill bottles and top up as i go. then i wont need to fill the garage with bottles. cheers maurice
Hi I have now imported the map in to Google maps here: http://maps.google.co.uk/maps/ms?ie...f03&ll=45.73686,0&spn=17.853709,39.550781&z=5

Its easier to load than the google earth version.

Thanks Olley I can get this one to work. :D

Do you know if it is possible to download the maps to my laptop or do I have to be on line to use it.

Hopefully going to Portugal in September so will be very useful.

Don
Don, I tried to save it but failed, I suggest (unless someone knows how to) that you open a few up on your route, and take down the details, and then you have a chance of finding them with your Sat Nav.

Hi Don, not as far as I am aware; you can only use Google maps while online. I have put a Tomtom download in the download section on here.

If you had one of the PC mapping programs like "autoroute" it might be possible to import it on to there. I don't have one myself so can't advise whether this is possible.
