Hi there i have a Lunar Roadstar 786 that has a height of 10ft to roof i am after a driveaway awning but confused about the heights quoted.
So folks interested to know how to measure height there is no canopy attached or any other form of brackets so presume a flap or something would have
to go onto or over the roof.
Went to Campbells last week came away annoyed as the salesman was as informative as a 2 year old child
Help!!!!!!

Hi Larryn,
Most drive away awnings have a large flap/canopy that you can either attach to your motorhome (usually by a connection to an already fitted omnistor/fiamma awning) or pull it up against the motorhome roof by (usually) throwing guy ropes over the roof. The height is not too critical but a competent sales assistant should be able to tell you what height the canopy can reach. The fitting is never going to be exact. Good luck in getting it sorted.
