No such thing as "free". Well very rarely. Most free software is full of ads or worse or its purpose is to get you to pay for something else or a better version.

I think its owned by Facebook (well META). There are a couple of paid for versions, business and "pay" where you can use it for moving money about and I think and they are on about using it to interface with all kinds of commercial stuff. I guess they get everyone on the platform then they can charge businesses to allow you to transact with them via whatsapp. Summat like that I suspect. They wont be providing it for free for no good commercial reason.

Its not part of Chrome though, it is not a Chrome built in VPN. What you have installed is a third party VPN "Into" Chrome as an extension. There are literally hundreds of these available. The trouble is how do you know what you are installing is safe or any good? thats why I said there is nothing that is completely "free". Browsec apparently is based in Russia and according to this report whilst its relatively "Technically" safe it will retain your browsing history and pass it on to the Russian government.

I think the long and the short of it is if you want to use a VPN, do a bit of research and use a paid for well known one.

Season 4 of The Bridge and I am struggling so tonight I will miss a few episodes (I`m on episode 2) and go to the last 2 to see what happens with the main characters. I have only stuck it out until now for the language, From series 3 it starte to really go downhill for me, too many characters kept being introduced I got confused who was who and now it`s just a ridiculous plot.
I know I can watch almost anything in German, but this one there was no temptation for me to switch it to English as I have done with other things.

How strange, on the computer Amazon the film is free, on the Firestick 2.99€, I have started watching it on the computer, Gone onto the TV firestick on the TV and I can just continue watching, no email from Amazon to say I have bought it. I know what to do next time there´s a paid film on there 😁
I also started watching Schindlers list earlier.
