I am quite enjoying this. Get Shorty. Three seasons. Just finished season one. Nothing to do with the 90s film of the same name though.

Quite funny but a good story also. Wasnt so sure for the first few episodes but I was up till 2:30am watching the last few episodes of season 1 last night. Im watching it on C4.

I can get that on Amazon with another 7 day free trial MGM, but it´s called Schnapps Shorty so it might only be in German 😕 .
I will give it a go tonight and hope its worth my time.

So I signed up for MGM then cancelled it, I now have 7 days to watch Get Shorty and it looks promising.
I wasn't sure about John Travolta and his greasy hair, but I think he'll be OK, lots of other older actors, took me a few minutes to recognise Gene Hackman.

So you did and that just goes to show how much I know about actors these days, 😁😂 they look a lot older than in this film now.
The film is a lot of rubbish, I could watch Rain Man, or Nobody with SAUL I must find something I like.

I`m watching Saul in Nobody at the moment, much different to his other rolls I have seen.
The film I was watching was on MGM haven`t seen a series.

I dont think you should watch anything I recommend to be honest.

I wasnt so sure after the first few episodes but I got into it and as said I kept binge watching the last few the other night until 2:30am.

It´s either your tastes and sense of humour that have changed recently, I´ll give it until 3 and if I still don´t like it give up.

It seems very Tame after Nobody.

You are definitely watching "Get Shorty" the series? About the gangsters who end up making a Hollywood movie? I wouldnt have described it as tame. Took a while to get going.

I dont think my tastes or sense of humour have changed though, its just a struggle to find anything thats any good anymore. Seen all the best stuff.

Thats the one, first episode the two are digging a hole and chucking black bags in. It`s tame compared with the horrors I have been watching lately, treat yourself to Nobody staring Bob Odenkirk (Better call Saul) 1.5 hours of hilarious action. An opportunity to make that into a series the way the film ended.

Pretty sure I watched nobody a while back. Think it was ok but I cant remember.

Another good film with Bruce Willis in Death Wish. It was made in 2018 and he looks ill to me. Super film though.
Last year he retired from acting because he was diagnose with -- aphasia or

Nobody is not on Netflix Ray, Prime MGM as is Get Shorty.
I have watched up to episode 4 of Get Shorty and can´t continue, it doesn´t flow for me.
