We watched that new Luther film yesterday Luther:The Fallen Sun and thought it was superb. Really gripping and full of suspense, 2 hours well spent for us.

Yes and thanks, I'll try and remember when one of our current series comes to an end. We tend to have 3 main series on the go at any one time plus 2 shorter comedy ones if we can. That way we can chop and change for the hour or two that we watch TV at night (we only watch Coronation Street and the News at 6 on terrestrial TV these days).

Nobody is a film, only 1.5 hrs long, I hope they make a series though.

Just checked and there is going to be a Nobody 11 made this year., I can`t see anywhere on Prime. to like as you can on Netflix.

Found how to like it, a bit more to it than just clicking a like or love on Netflix, I gave it 5 stars and wrote a short review.

Another oldie with this MGM I thought I had seen Rain Man but I hadn`t it must have been all the publicity it had at the time and the trailers.
Tom Cruise was a pretty boy.

Now going to watch Richard Gere in Red Corner.

Jan are you telling us that you have never seen Rainman or A Fish called Wanda.
Now I know you started this thread(and really seem to keep it going)but you need to rethink your viewing habits............I dread to think what else you will mention that you have never seen.
Remember in the old days when there were 3 or 4 big films each year and everybody had seen them. Same as TV series (and only 3 channels) Everybody had seen everything...............reminds me of Patrick Stewart in Extras.............. of course I've seen everything

I don´t think I have ever watched Star Trek either so Ricky Gervais isn`t the only one :ROFLMAO: .

I´m really enjoying my 7 days free trial of MGM though, watching proper films not Movies when did Brits start calling films movies for goodness sake.
Richard Gere was good, no swearing no unnecessary violence, a proper story line and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Who knows what I´ll find tomorrow, maybe John Wayne.

I´m seeing some really good films with plenty of action Black light with Liam Neeson, Black light, Prodègè Made for revenge.
1998 Ronin with Robert de Niro, Sean Bean a few more well known faces and Katerina Witt the ice skater, that was a super film, they were all films to keep me awake and loved how the girls could stand up for themselves and so many can still run around with a bullet in their body somewhere. .

All on Prime.

I´m finding so many watchable films on Prime I haven't looked at Netflix for a while.
I wonder how you are looking for stuff on Netflix Ray, under films or Series?

Not series Jan but films and 'Latest'. Netflix also point us in the direction it thinks we want. Totally pointless.

Anyone finished Clarksons farm Series 2 yet? I think I said earlier it seemed a bit more contrived when we started watching it but we finished it last night and loved it. Best thing on TV I Reckon. Maybe better than Paul and Bobs Gone fishing (Certainly a bigger budget).

The very last episode Clarkson shows his true colours and loses it a bit though. Definitely the real him i would say. :D I wont spoil it by saying what happens but its a good story.

I´ve got season 1 and Season 2 of Clarkson on Prime, I am sure I saw the first season 3 years ago when I was with Heike, are there more than 2 seasons ?

I´m watching a good series on Prime tonight, have to stop watching now as I am tired after a busy day, but it is a keep watching series called Condor. 2 seasons 10 episodes in each.

Yes, we did but although Prue generally likes things 'based' on real life/events, I find them dramatized and dragged out to fill the 90 mins.
We still have plenty to view and record on 'live' TV most nights.

Went to cinema today. The film looked naff to me from the trailer. But 'Empire of Light' was great after a slow start. Topical, emotional, bit of a story and most of our group of 30 loved it.

Just two of Clarksons farm. A third is in the pipeline I think but after that nobody is sure as he blotted his copybook again.

We have the last episode to go I think. Thoroughly enjoying it: it makes us laugh out loud (especially the interactions with Gerald) and also I feel a little sorry for him with all the No's he's getting from the DUP...sorry....local council.

Yep. The council thing and the locals is incredible. There are two sides to every story of course but I loved the way he has hit back at them in the program. A few burnt bridges there I reckon.
