Not everyone is reading my home thread, more people might be interested in Netflix though.
I downloaded it on Monday and have been watching more of "Anne with an E" free of charge :grin2: (I was watching it at Heike´s). If I want to carry on with Netflix then after 30 days I start to pay 7.99€ a month.
"Anne with an e " is "Anne of Green Gables" . in case you didn´t know and I am thoroughly enjoying it, better than all the blood and guts and fantasy stuff Netflix has.
I have never read the book and didn´t realise it all happens in Canada, but I bet there aren´t many who have never heard of the classic.
There are 3 prices for Netflix in this country, maybe the same everywhere I don´t know.

We finished The Accident on Netflix last night. Only a 4 parter and very well done we thought.
Sadly no "The Accident" on my Netflix.

We watched The girl in the Spiders Webb staring Clair Foy who I just discover played the young Elisabeth 11 in The Crown, I knew I had seen he before.
Good film, all sorts of trickery with computers 😂 I always laugh, but who knows one day it may come to pass, just hope it`s not in my time.
We started watching The Bonfire of Destiny yesterday on Netflix. It's a French production with dubbed English. A very gripping first episode so we'll continue with it. It deals with a fire in Paris in 1897 that killed over 100 people and it's aftermath.
I`m sure I watched that when I first had Netflix, but can only remember the beginning when the fire started inside a building with a lot of women inside and carriages driven by horses along cobbled Streets. Maybe something to rewatch in the winter when I sign up to Netflix again.

We had a couple of nights of watching The Rookies on Prime, each episode is a different story so not something you must keep watching.
We watched a Prime video Most dangerous Game, As long as you realise from the start your watching a load of comical rubbish it`s quite entertaining.

We watched a film the other night on Netflix - Traffic. It's quite old but with a stellar cast. Anoying amount of Spanish without subtitles which necessitated my switching them on and off in order to follow it however a good film nonetheless.
We started a new series for us on Netflix last night: Paranoid. It looks quite promising.
On Prime—Mel Gibson Lethal Weapon 1 and 2 watched 3 comes tonight, lots of comical action.
Hope you don't have to pay for all the Lethal Weapon fims Jan. They are so old even Channel4 have stopped repeating them.

Watched Lethal Weapon 3 last night, like most of these things it´s lost it`s umph for me, still funny in parts, but dragged out too long.
I dare say we will look at number 4.
The Fugitive with Hamilton Ford & Tommy Lee Jones, an old film and a good one, no effing for a change, a proper story to it. Most enjoyable.

Another good oldie with Kevin Costner and Clint Eastwood Perfect World.
A very disturbing story and it still goes on with others
Yesterday we re-watched the film Pride on Netflix. It's one of my favourite films providing laugh out loud moments as well as great poignancy.

Based on a true story too...

Just watched the trailer on YouTube (in German  ) Looks good, must remember the title when I restart Netflix in the autumn.
We finished watching the series Paranoid, on Netflix last night. Good cast and a good plot we thought.
Not Netflix but ITV X. Finished watching all 5 seasons of this last night. It was an Irish series from RTE. I don't remember it airing here though. From 2010 onwards.

Not for the faint hearted. Grim don't even come close and pretty violent. I binged watched it though. It's sort of rapped up but there was talk of a sixth season that never happened.

We started watching a new series for us on Netflix last night called Treason. It's a 5 parter thriller about MI6.
