We want a trial run and somewhere within two hours of Staffordshire...Spain is not an option unfortunatly :wink: Perhaps a dog friendly site for the first trip rather than roughing it ..any suggestions welcome I've got my survival gear all packedoops forgot to pack Phils

I worked in the NHS before I retired and regularly travelled through Desford en route from Leicester to a small hospital in Market Bosworth.
I actually live in Loughborough.

The Fairoaks site outside Chester is nice. It's my local area so if you want any info on pubs, walks, bike rides or anything - just ask. :lol:

thanx banjo. the pubs as appealing as they sound are not a good idea until we find out how to make up the bed.... I know the bed over the cab is easier but trust me Phil is not climbing a ladder to the bed over the cab after 2 or 3 pints :wink:

Solution Jenny - you go up the ladder to the nice big comfy bed & leave him to sort out the cushions downstairs. :lol:
