Anybody have any ideas on how I can coerce the wife (not in my case may I say)into going camping more often than 6x per year? She says "It's too much work" to get everything ready. Suggestions?

Sorry about the short response , got sprung again by hubby, he reckons it's cold enough to snow and he ain't going out again till Spring! :coffee2: so I made him one of them !
Was going to say that we tend to keep basics in van all year round, tinned food, water bottle, wine, warm clothes, towels toothbrushes n stuff, so all I really throw in is fresh food and more wine, that gets us away for 2 3 days without even thinking about :sunny: whenever the sun comes out!
Only really think about packing stuff for spells of 7 days or more or if we are using the van to stay over at friends if we go somewhere posh -
cos don't do posh in the van 8)

I think a lot of people like twooks keeps their van prepared so its only fresh food/milk etc that needs to go in. If we have no trips planned we may just decide to go on a rally for the w/end.
One of our neighbours bought a van just to get out and socialise more doing rallies

Yep Tooks
Thats exactly what we do, ready for a quick get away

Start the fridge of while parked at work (Its my car too), fill up with water once home then wooooooooooosh.................... :shaking2:

were off!! \:D/ :laughing3: :headbang: :eek:ccasion5: :smilebox:

This only works if you use it regularly of course, the biccies would go stale otherwise.

BTW I had a dream the other night: we were in a huge jam on a motorway for hours and made a fortune selling cups of :coffee2: to the parched car drives

I've often thought of doing that, or handing out cold drinks, 'cos best jams usually happen when weather is very good or very bad, the two extremes.
Alternatively, had thought about renting out loo as well!, 'cos that always is the next thing you most want when stuck in traffic jam.
:pottytrain4: wondered when I'd get a chance to use one of these smileys.
