I'm really pleased with this considering its a bit of joke track.

Another "Electric Six" Cover continuing the Noughties alternative rock theme from one of my favourite bands. Danger High Voltage. An extended alternative version. Watch out for my "13th Duke of Wybourne" impersonation from "the Fast Show" (around the same era and about 3:15). Sadly its without Jack Whites from "the White Stripes" parts but heyho, no volunteers and Dick Valentines parts were a stretch enough! Great fun to do. This one definitely needs to be played at number 11!

The dancing is from a computer video game.

Never done one as it never seemed right somehow. Perhaps it isnt.

Should have been for Halloween really not least of all for the scary singing.

Have you watched the Nashville series Kev? I might stick it on the Netflix thread as its popped up on C4 player. Cheesy has hell but I absolutely loved it. Watched it twice. Nice one to binge watch over the winter and some fabulous music. I hated country until I watched that.

I Dont see any adverts on C4 Player or ITV X. Adguard extension Chrome sorts them out.

Bugger me this was a labour of love. I always thought the first track "Breathe" on Dark side of the moon was too short. I wanted to strip it down, build it up and extend it. So I have. Im not a singer but I multi tracked the vocals on this (As is the original but just two) and I am really pleased with how it sounds. The hardest part (which is why there is no video) was the feckin Hammond organ which took me an age to get right. If you get that far watch out for the twist in the lyrics at the end from further on up the Album.

Thanks. The videos are an absolute nightmare to put together. I am sure the professionals will knock them up in no time but it took hours to make that one. Probably why I dont do many with me in them. Well that and the fact that I reckon people prefer to look at either young dancers or scary stuff.

Bit of a labour of love as I couldn't just do the short version could I? I think its the longest track I have ever done, even longer than Breathe by the Prodigy and the Blue Monday covers I did. There is a maximum of 32 tracks in the Free version of pro tools I use to record and mix and I actually ran out of instrument tracks and synth midi tracks to do this. The more tracks you have the harder it is to mix also and not end up sounding like a muddy racket which of course to some it might.

Im pretty pleased with it although I tried every effect and method under the sun to get the intro right but then just decided to not bother and make it a big raucous slide with a load of feedback down the frets.

Im only in it for about ten seconds you will be pleased to hear. The Shuffle Dancers are back though.
