This one takes me right back to when I saw my first wife, I was in the Tropicana in Bradford with some mates and she walked in with her friends, Hmm thought I, so the night went on and she walked by a few times so I took a deep breath and asked her to get the DJ to put this on, of course, she told me NO!! so it then became a challenge, eventually, she did, and we ended up talking, going out, and married with two beautiful daughters, sadly it didn't last.

Another one celebrating 50 years of Dark side of the Moon.

Almost gave up several times. Its and absolute nightmare to do. Not least of all because its swaps from 7/8 timing to 4/4 and back again!!

LOL! Dont know if those figures are true but there is more controversy over that track than you might think. Andy Summers saved that song from almost being thrown away by the Police. Its his riff that Diddy uses yet Summers got nothing for it, Sting got it all which is outrageous. The Police spent weeks and weeks farting about with this track and it almost got binned until Summers saved the day with the now iconic guitar riff. They hated each other by this time and had actual physical fights in the studio over this one apparently. If anyone should be making a few quid off this one it should be Andy Summers. Sting is a bit of a tit IMO. I think it went on to become their biggest selling single ever. Its a really dark track also if you understand the real meaning of it.

You might need a drink or two before watching this and its certainly not for the faint hearted. Its so harrowing I added a warning to the title and YouTube have age restricted it so you wont see it unless you have an account and confirm you are over 18. Ive included a Vimeo link which should work if you dont have a youtube account. More like the Wolves version than the Cranberries but a bit faster with some Bingo extras. Its the first time Ive tried to do a bit of a "death metal vocal growl" in the chorus blended with two ordinary shouty vocals. I now cant talk properly and need Scotch.

Worth sticking to the end for the video at least as its kind of uplifting in a show of hope and solidarity.

If the top one dont work, try this one.

I always wanted to do this. I recorded it over the weekend but as I knackered my back completely again Ive not had chance to check the mix on the car stereo (Very technical) until this morning. Not changed anything. Love it. I think its one of the best covers I have done for some time although to be fair its not that complex. The biggest challenge was the vocal. David Byrnes vocal range is pretty high.

Just some honest guitar (2), bass and a screaming Hammond organ.

Cant believe this is 1977. I think it was ahead of its time. Talking heads were one of the pioneers of New Wave music I reckon.

One of my favourites, I listened to it yesterday on a CD in the car.

Err. No. Not on my playlist. 😁
Don't know if you're fan but there was a TV prog on last week, brilliant.

Posted it before but I am quite proud of this. Every sound you hear was played on one twenty quid second hand midi keyboard or one guitar.
