Haven't used this in a long time but when I opened it today it initially showed me the map with all the POI but now I get only a blank area where the map should be. Thought I'd uninstall/reinstall but now I can't find it in Playstore...?? I'm subscribed till the summer.

It would seem they've changed their name to Motorhome Parking Locations as well as their logo!
Really annoying. Poor, slow map, reviews scan past before you can read them and you can't stop them by holding. Maybe it'll get better, maybe not.
Any others tried it?

Are there alternatives, have you looked at Searchforsites .. ?
I've managed to sign in but it's a pile of useless..... code. Terrible experience. Actually, I didn't sign in, I had to register. Which makes me think that Ally must've sold his info to some other entity.... especially when I had to select either GB or IE as the prefix for my phone number. Ally would know anyone in NI is in neither.

You are right the old map and app will be defunct , The new map is still in its infancy and being updated all the time , I have been trying to add locations for a week or so and it was only yesterday that it would let me (so i have bombarded him with locations to approve
). There are other people involved as well as Ally who are updating all the time so i think it could be a couple of months before it settles. When i log in i have no issues with it although it's easier on a chromebook than on my phone and i can access reviews etc. I know people have been having issues logging in so maybe that will sort itself out (it logs me out on the app on my phone which can be annoying but not on my chromebook). I think the main reason for the new app is security as he's had a lot of problems with people stealing the old map and putting it out as their own.

He has had a lot of problems with this venture but hopefully he will get it right and it will be a good asset for some, especially the irish locations .

Thanks rebby, yes it has improved since I wrote. I'd messaged Ally and he explained the background and that it's an ongoing project.
He also indicated they'd more or less abandoned FB as the main place for communication. I'd given up on the forum when they moved over to FB n when I pointed out what I thought were failings in the system I was made to feel like a dinosaur.
